Nicholas Ferreri program chair
for February introduced Jennifer Edsall of the Capital Area Interfaith
Respite & RSVP, celebrating over 20 years of relief for caregivers. She
reviewed the program of trained volunteers who relieve home caregivers to
get away, run errands, meet with friends and other things to give them a
break. Volunteers are always needed. It requires just 2 hours of training
and 2-4 hours a week in the homes of the elderly just talking with the
people needing care. Contact CARE at (517) 887-6116
