 Presentations

Bob Nelson: The Mason Golden K was presented a check for $50 for having the most members from a visiting Club at our Prayer Breakfast this morning. The Mason Golen K generously donated their $50 prize to the Salvation Army.

Dick Skinner: Dick introduced Patrick Sauer, youth minister for Greater Lansing Youth for Christ at Waverly High School, and present him a check for $200. Mr. Sauer commented on the work they do with youth in the area and the success they have had.

Today’s song leader was Bill Maher with Dr. Clyde Flory at the piano singing "Amazing Grace" "He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands" and "Smile."

 

Happy Bucks

No happy bucks today but the Salvation Army Red Kettle was available for those wishing to make a donation.

 

Program

Dennis Churchill introduced today’s speaker, Jim Corder. Mr. Corder had been involved in the ministry at three churches in the area, currently at St. Gerard. His work is primarily with youth and young couples preparing for marriage. His message today "Learning from Service."

 

Announcements

Dennis Churchill: A moment of silence was observed for our distinguished member Miller Perry who passed away on Sunday, March 21st. Twenty of our members and wives attended his memorial service in East Lansing on Monday.

Bob Nelson: A reminder to our members and our visitors the annual Indoor Yard Sale is being held on April 16 and 17 with setup on April 14 and 15. Volunteers are needed all four days and a sign-up sheet is available, and of course we need your donations. The sale again this year is at the Faith United Methodist Church, 4301 S Waverly Road.

 

The Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday, April 6,12:00 noon at Grumpy’s Restaurant.
