April 9, Prayer Breakfast, Robert Nelson presiding

Fifty three people attended the Prayer Breakfast this morning with visitors from six area Kiwanis Clubs. Thirteen members from the South Lansing Club were in attendance and were the recipients of the $50 attendance award.

The Community Award, in the form of a $250 check, was presented to Campus Life’s Dave Burkholder by Richard Skinner.

Bill Maher, with Clyde Flory at the piano, led the singing of "Amazing Grace" and "He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands."

Guest speaker for the day: Reverend Richard Ammons, "The Power of Prayer"

In lieu of the regular sharing of "Happy Bucks" the Salvation Army Kettle was available for those wishing to make a contribution in support of the Army’s work in the Lansing area and around the world.
