Bill
Maher: I received an email from the Eaton Rapids Club. They are
putting on a Special Olympics program next Tuesday, May 13, and are asking
for volunteers to work in the morning starting at 8:30am.
I have
information sheets on our new members if you have not gotten one. A copy was
attached to last weeks Krier email.
Harry Kost:
I had a mailing from Turkeyville with their upcoming programs. A Johnny Cash
impersonator is going to be there for a couple of months. If there is any
interest I will get more information.
Larry
Pingel: Since there seems to be considerable interest in getting
a group to go by bus to a Tiger baseball game… I will look into it.
Yvonne
Groak: Would anyone who is giving blood each month please let me
know so I can include it in my report.
Bob
Nelson: The annual Safety Patrol Picnic is Wednesday, May 19, at
Hawk Island Park.
They have
again asked us to grill hot dogs for the kids, 8:45am to 12:45pm. There is
lunch afterwards, sign-up sheets are on the tables.
Carla
Johnston: The Membership Committee will meet here next
Thursday at 11:30am.
The
Youth Services Committee will meet here next week at 11:45am.
The
Golf Committee will meet here next Thursday at 10:30am.
Our annual
election of officers and board members will be next week, May 13. The slate

Pingel, a happy buck for my magic watch joke.

Crenshaw, a happy buck for my speaker who is not going to be here, he is
stuck in Howell, another for the Eastern High School student going to the
Key Leader Conference. Also one for my dog who got groomed but still has his
Mohawk and the last one for a great trip to New Hampshire.
Chuck
Reifsnyder, a happy buck to be back after a great month in Florida and
another for my granddaughter for her accomplishments in Australia last week.
I won’t bore you with the details, there is an article in the paper this
morning.

Skinner, a happy buck to present Chuck with the article about his
granddaughter that I clipped from the paper this morning. And did you

Churchill, a happy buck for my daughter who is coming home from
Baltimore with two our grandkids next week.
Yvonne
Groak, as most of you know my billfold was stolen last December. Two
days ago I received an large envelope from the Collins Road Post Office.
Inside was a plastic bag containing all of my identification.
Jo Grubbe,
a happy buck for all the events coming up after a slow winter, safety
patrol picnic, golf outing, Texas hold ‘em, etc.

Fluke, a couple happy bucks for the next two weeks meetings I will miss.
I will be in Denmark eating Danish with the Great Danes.
Clyde
Flory, several members are back from Florida but my happy buck is for a
trip to Florida next week.

Today’s
scheduled speaker had to cancel so program chairman, Bryan Crenshaw filled
in. Bryan has been involved with Key Leader programs since high school and
discussed what these organization are doing for young people.
