Songs

Roger Grove, Clyde Flory at the piano… "Boost Kiwanis"

The Noon News with Nicholas Ferreri

Nicholas with an inexhaustible supply of interesting stories you don’t find in the LSJ like the suspected drug dealer fleeing from the police who pulled into a Taco Bell for one last burrito before going to jail.

Happy Bucks

Roger Grove, I have a happy buck for Wally Dobler, glad to have him here.

Bob Nelson, my happy buck is also for my guests with me today.

Larry Pingel, a happy buck for the Tigers who are in first place (whoops, got beat again by the Twins this afternoon, now in second) and another for the new slate of officers and directors who have agreed to serve.

Ev Beemer, my happy buck is for Nita and I, we just celebrated our 60th anniversary. Congratulations and best wishes for many more.

Clyde Flory, a happy buck for Lance Lynch who I found featured in this magazine article after he received the 2009 Sparrow Founders Award for his work for the hospital and many other community organizations including Kiwanis. He will be back at again next Wednesday morning serving up pop corn to the kids at the Safety Patrol Picnic… he has done this for 30 years.

Pot Winner

Lou Leitz was today’s Pot winner… but could not find the joker.

Next week, May 21, we will meet at Grumpy’s Restaurant, Mt Hope and Pennsylvania.

On May 28 we will meet at the Eagles Club, 4700 N Grand River.
