The Noon News with Nicholas Ferreri

Richard Anthony Smith told police he was a special agent of the U S Aluminotti, badge # 0931, when he was rescued from an air duct at the Knoxville Museum of Art. He said he was sent on a mission to confiscate a Soviet made nuclear warhead from inside a blue plastic cow in the museum basement. However he said his agents called and said he had made a mistake… the warhead was in a Memphis museum. He is residing in a Knoxville jail.

The weather for the weekend, sunny in the 70’s.

Steve Yencich is President/CEO of the Michigan Lodging and Tourism Association. He spoke of the importance of tourism relative to the Michigan economy and how they will be better able to compete with neighboring states with the passage of proposed legislation, bill SB690.
