Sept 25, 2008 Meeting

A joint dinner meeting was held with the Mason Kiwanis Club in Mason. The proceedings included the installation of Clarence Smith our new president for the coming year and Robert Nelson was installed Lt Governor of Division 16, receiving the Lt Governors banner from outgoing Lt Governor Liz Luttrell-Wilson. Liz commented on her year as Lt Governor and Bob on his plans for the upcoming year.

The meeting was well attended by many members of our Club as well as several of their wives including Bob Nelson’s wife Carol. A very special guest also in attendance was Bob’s 93 year old mother.

Rick Librizzi, who is in Sparrow Hospital, underwent carotid artery surgery on Thursday and will have open heart surgery next Monday. We wish him well and will keep him in our prayers. Thanks to Em Reifsnyder for this information.
