The Noon News with Nicholas Ferreri
More interesting news items like
the lady who would not return the neighbor kids football when it landed in her
yard. She was charged with petty theft.
And oh… if your silver gravy ladle is missing Nicholas might be able to
help.
Songs
Bill Maher, all by himself, bravely
led the singing of “On Kiwanis” and “Smile.”
Happy Bucks
Carla Johnston, my happy buck is for Jo Grubbe
who is always at every Club event and stays until it is over.
Jo Grubbe, a happy buck for the Rummage Sale, it was a lot of work but fun. Some
have suggested we join the South Lansing Club for a similar fundraising event
next year.
Dick Skinner, I have a happy buck for Sue
Devon whose picture was in the paper this morning along with
the announcement of her Kiwanis Club membership
Jim Kost, I am going to make this dollar stretch a bit for the
Spartans and their Big Ten Championship,
Kalin Lucas and Tom Izzo.
Jeff Lorencen, my happy buck is for our guest speakers today.
Sue Devon, I have a happy buck for all the happy bucks you put in for me last week
welcoming me to your Club.
Dennis Churchill, I have a happy buck for Sue whose membership made the paper this morning
and for a successful weekend for the Spartans at the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis.
Program
Jeff
Lorencen introduced Bob Trezise,
President of the Lansing Economic
Development Corporation. He discussed
the positive things that are happening in the city such as the Ottawa Street
Power Station, developments on Grand
Avenue, Market Place, the new City Market, expansion of Jackson
National and others.

Today’s lucky winner Tom
Renton. Tom got even
luckier and drew the joker and is the winner of the Big Prize. Congratulations Tom!
